Santa House

Haunted House done in Christmas colors.  The lovely tree is from http://forevermemoriesforyou.co.uk
I used a snowflake punch for decorations and some sequin birds on the tree.   My cricut took forever to cut out the tree and didn't cut all the way through on some of the branches but it was worth the extra work.  The tree looks wonderful and the birds (being sequin) shine when the light hits them.  I loved the house at Halloween.  I saw where others had cut it out for Christmas and decided to try it too.  I am now wondering what if I do it in pastels and add Easter eggs around and grass and flowers.  My mind is whirling with ideas.

2011 Calendar With Bugaboo Stamps

Oh Wow there is so much to this post (in pics that is).  I did up a desk calendar for my good friend at work.  This character reminds me so much of her.  I used a bunch of Bugaboo digital stamps for this.  If you don't have any of these stamps, you should really try them out.

Spam comments

Due to getting several spam comments, I have had to go back to moderating comments and requiring the stupid captcha for comments.  Sorry to everyone who leaves me comments.  I hate how a few people want to ruin things for others.

Just stuff

I recently got a continuous ink system for my printer.  It was the best decision I have made printer wise.  I have been printing out all kinds of patterned paper lately.  It's for cards and other paper creations I am thinking of making.  I used to not want to print out those colorful pages, but now, I am not afraid of running out of ink.  I have a Canon ip4200.  It has seperate cartridges for each color as I hate the all in one color cartridges.  I am even planning on printing some digital scrapbooking pages now that I can print them without wondering just how much ink I have left.  I have had so much fun printing lately that I just had to share.

Christmas Cards 2010

I have the Christmas card parts all colored in.  I just love the way the scene came together.  This is also the first step card I have done.  It all folds up to fit into a regular size envelope and everything.
The stamps of the kids having a snowball fight are all from Eat Cake Graphics.  They were colored in using my copic markers.
This little girl is 1117-F Look out! Cora's ready to throw.  I colored her with the following copic colors:
B00,B32,E00,E25,R22,R81,R83,R85,V12,V15,V17

These cute little guys with their dog are 1116-J Snowballs stocked and ready.  The colors I used for them are:
B12,C7,E00,E33,E35,E55,YG00,YG63,YR16

These boys are 1119-J Charlies in charge of throwing.  These are the colors I used for them:
B00,B24,E00,E27,G14,G21,R46,R59,Y08

This suprised guy is 1118-G Hit with snowball (ouch!).  I colored him with:
B00,B12,B95,E00,E43,E47,G24,T17

This sentiment is one I picked up from Hobby Lobby.

I didn't do my usual shading on these images.  I have 27 of these ready to go out just after Thanksgiving.  I wanted all my cards to match this year.  Last year I did a bunch of different images on different style cards.  I hope you have enjoyed looking at my work.  I had fun deciding on a layout an then choosing the colors.

Halloween Blog Hop!!!!!

Halloween is my favorite holiday of the year.  Yep, it even beats out Christmas.  When else can you dress up and no one thinks you are nuts?  I even got married on Halloween back in 2008.  He can never say he forgot the date.  LOL

This is my first blog hop ever. I have a variety of cards and a haunted house. I forgot to take pictures of the coffins I did for my son's teachers. I hope you enjoy.

This is the Haunted house from the Happy Haunting Cricut cartridge.  I used a dark grey cardstock and vellum for the windows.  It looks really cool when I put in the battery operated tea lights and turn off the lights.  Unfortunately, the pics are better when the lights are on.

This is my Headless Horseman card.  I got the SVG for him from SVGCUTS.  They have some awesome die cuts.

This Spider Cider card was made from a printable from Lettering Delights.  I have purchased many fonts and images from them.  The have loads of stuff.  The spiderweb is one of my Sizzix dies.  I love all my toys.
This lovely witch  and the sentiment is from Eat Cake Graphics.  I love this image.  I just had to order the stamp and matching sentiment.  I used my trusty copic markers to color her in.

I used a cuttlebug embossing folder and my sizzix die to make this lovely.  After I punched out the spider, I decided it needed something more.  I made him shinny!  I applied some diamond glaze over the spider and he is all nice and shinny on his pop dots.

I like making new things so I tried this tri-fold card.  I loved the way it turned out.  The ghost and pumpkin are sizzix dies and sentiment is from Mini Monsters Cricut cartridge, the witches hat is from Happy Haunting and I have no idea where the cauldron is from.  I looked but I couldn't find it.
I loved the tri-fold so much I did a spider one too.  All the spiders, webs and the sentiment inside are from sizzix dies.  The Happy Halloween sentiment is from from stickers I had.

I hope you have enjoyed my work (I know there was a lot of it, but it is my favorite holiday).  Please, join the rest of our gang and hop along with us.  I have heard that there will be prizes.

Yeah Me!

I learned something new today! We are having a Halloween Blog Hop this weekend over at Copic Musketeers. I have learned how to do HTML links for this. I always wondered how people did those and now I know.

I have been playing around with my cricut working on some paper piecings for my Grandson's Book.  I have been using both of the Winnie the Pooh cartridges.

July Birthday Club Copic Crafters

Lots of birthdays this month.  I actually got these out before the end of the month.  I hope they arrive and everyone likes them.

July OAMR Copic Crafters

Well I did get these out before the month was half over.  These were much simpler than I normally do.  I just haven't been feeling creative lately.  I was worried that it would hang on all month and I would be late again.  I do like the simplicity of the cards.  I don't sign the inside of my OAMR cards.  I leave them blank in case the person receiving them needs a card quick.  They could use the card I sent or they could keep it for themselves.
