Project for my Mom

I started working on one of Kathy Orta's Mini's but I need it to include at least thirteen layouts.  The one I am working on has eight pages, which to me, would mean a front page, a back page, and seven double page layouts.  I could work with a front page, a back page, and twelve double page layouts.  I just need to figure out how to make it work for me.  I want to do a special album for my Mom.  The front and back page could be dedicated to her parents, the most wonder Grandparents I could have ever had.  The double page layouts would be for her and her siblings.  There were twelve kids in her family.  Both of my Grandparents passed away over ten years ago and my mom has lost five of her sibling over the years.  I really like the layout of this album.  It is set up to be decorated like a traditional scrapbook with layouts of embellishments, papers, and photos.  I am hoping to find a binding system, like Kathy's hidden hinge, that will work.

Cleaning up the Craft Room

I have spent so much time in my craft room lately.  No, not making things.  Just trying to go through things and put them away so I can get to my tables.  Yes, I said tables.  I have two folding tables as well as a big desk in my craft room.  I have hoarded collected so many items, I feel buried by them.  I think about listing some of the items, but then I worry about, what if I need them for something.  I have a problem.  I need to make some projects.  Okay, I need to finish some projects.  I have so many started, but so few finished.  I have a paper addiction.  I love to buy pretty paper, but then I cant bring myself to actually cut it or use it.
