Card for my husbad to give to his Mother

I thought long and hard about what kind of card to make for my husband to give to his Mother on Mother's Day.  I came up with this lovely card.  I used a stamp from CC Designs I purchased from Allthatscraps.com.  I love these stamps.  I cut it out with my nesties and then added some flowers, ribbon and bling.
This is actually a gate fold card.  On the inside flap I stamped the Happy Mother's Day greeting and added a flower from a set I purchased at the Dollar Tree.  Sometimes they have some really good stuff.
I talked with my husband and together we came up with the inside greeting.  I cut it out with my nesties and used the same paper I used on the front.  I added another flower from the set.
Since this is an odd size card for me, I didn't have any envelopes to use with it.  I made my first ever handmade envelope to go with the card.  The envelope is a little too big, but I like it anyway.  I used the last two flowers from the set on the outside of the envelope.

New Grandbaby gift package

I am getting ready to send out a package to my son and his wife for the baby shower they are about to have.  I picked up a few things and I made a few things.  I just hope they like it.  I got these stamps from The Greeting Farm.  I absolutely love them.  The set even came with the sentiments.  I added a few embellishments from my stash and some baby papers I picked up at Big Lots.
I made these birth announcements using a Bugaboo image.  We know from the ultrasounds that they are expecting a little boy.  I hope they like them.
I picked up a premade scrapbook from Big Lots.  I know she won't feel like making pages from scratch right after the baby, but maybe she will feel up to capturing some of the new experiences with this.

I did make her a baby wordbook.  I hope she likes it.  There are so many possibilities with this.

Of course she will need some stickers and other embellishments to complete the books.  I picked up a few of these and some of them just came from my extra large stash.  I have two boys and I have been doing different scrapbooks and things for them, so I have lots of boy stuff extra.

The collection of onsies I plan on sending.  Wow!  There are some Bugaboo images, some Mo Manning and a CC Designs.  I had a lot of fun making these.  I hope they are well liked at their destination.

Last but not least is the cute outfit I bought at Wal-Mart.  Just in case they don't like the ones I decorated.

Now to gather it all up, box it up and ship it out.

Anniversary Card Swap - Copic Crafters

I happened upon a great deal on some House Mouse stamps on clearance at Hobby Lobby a little over a week ago.  I couldn't resist using this adorable bunny stamp in an anniversary card.  I thought it was perfect.  I used my copics to color the bunnies in.  I am getting better at the outside the nestability cutting.  I love the way the antennae stick out the top of the cut.

After prompting from the recipient of this card, Billie, I have decided to enter it into the House Mouse and Friends Challenge at http://www.housemouseandfriends.blogspot.com/.  The challenge is "Spring".

Thank you card

This is the thank you card I did for my Bunny from the Bunny Swap.  Thank you Febe, you did a great job.  This stamp is from Penny Black.  It is called Daydream.  I received the stamp, some copic markers, nibs for markers, a copic atyou spica pen, and a dvd to help me learn more about how to effectively use my copic markers.

Easter Cards for Copic Crafter Group

In my Copic Crafter group we did a Bunny Swap.  We used Oozak.com for Bunny coordination.  Rusty did a great job for us.  We did cards for his 2 children.  These are the cards I did for his family.  The girl is from My Favorite Thing Pure Innocence.  I love these stamps.  The boy is from the new spring release at allthatscraps.com.    The eggs stamp is from Hambostamps.com (I cut them apart).  The ribbon is just some Easter ribbon I picked up at Walmart.  I colored the eggs with my ultra fine tip Bic Markits and the rest with my Copics.  I had a lot of fun doing this swap.  So many beautiful cards were made by all the participants.

Whipper Snapper Designs

I just got in the cutest stamps.  I ordered 2 sets from Whipper Snapper Designs.  One was a boy set and the other is a girl set.  I just love this little guy.
