I have been creating some mini albums lately. I seem to have trouble putting embellishments all over my pages. I can't seem to bring myself to cover up the beautiful papers I chose. Does anyone else ever find themselves in this situation? I need help. Does anyone have any tips for me on how to embellish my pages. I have lots of purchased embellishments and handmade embellishments. I am such a clean and simple style crafter. I really want to create all those wonderfully embellished mini albums I see on blogs and youtube and ustream, but I am having trouble letting go and embellishing. Any suggestions would be so helpful.

Stampin Up Demonstrators
I am looking for a Stampin Up Demonstrator. There isn't one listed anywhere near me on the website. I was wanting to order and noticed that if I use a demonstrator I get a discount. This would be a win win situation for me and who ever I order through. I have never ordered from Stampin Up before. I know I have seen where some ladies offer clubs or discounts for ordering. Leave me a comment or drop me an email rrpric01@yahoo.com.

New Gazelle
I got a new toy. It's a Bosskut Gazelle!!! It finally came back on Monday. I pre ordered it way back in April when they were having a special on them. I tried and tried to get it to cut for me since Monday, but I just couldn't figure it out. I was almost in tears. Today I asked for help on the owners forum. Terri gave me lots of ideas to try and she was gonna call me at home to help me figure it out. Before she could call me, I decided to try one last ditch effort to do it myself. Well, I figured it out. Seems my Gazelle did not like the USB port I wanted to use for it. I uninstalled everything and tried a different port, and it worked!!! I am up and cutting. This thing is faster than my cricut could even think about and it cuts like a hot knife through butter. If it weren't for some of the images and projects I absolutely love on the cartridges, I would totally ditch my cricut. I feel I really got my money's worth with this. I am so excited!!! I will post projects as I complete them. I have so many svgs that my cricut could not cut.

Copic Musketeers August Challange
Copic Musketeers
This month’s challenge is to create a card or project with a BOAT somewhere on your card and or project.. The sponsors for this month are: Delicious Doodles: 4 images, winners choice and Paper Temptress: one-20 sheet package of Cryogen White card stock.
Delicious Doodles is a relatively young company with myself, Teri, as the Sole Trader. I have doodled and sketched all of my life, but only started selling my images in the Autumn of 2009.
I design and hand/mouse-draw all of the images that are sold in the Delicious Doodles Shop. Some are cutsie animals, some are sketched flowers, there are a few men’s images, some fantasy items and also some ‘darker’ images featuring Vampires, skulls and Gothic stuff, something for everyone!
Delicious Doodles has also recently begun it’s own Challenges on blogger and has it’s own blog page featuring inspiration from the Design Team.
I hope you enjoy using your Delicious Doodles images!
Hugs,
Teri xx

This month’s challenge is to create a card or project about summer. It can be anything about summer, the beach, vacation, BBQ’s, it’s up to you.
This month’s sponsor is Pattie’s Creations, here is a bit about Pattie and Pattieboop:
Pattieboop is an 11 year old girl who is very opinionated. She was created by Pattie Gomez on September 7, 2009. Pattieboop is an average 11 year old and she loves dressing up. She is very petite in nature but stands tall because her mother always told her that “If you stand tall you will one day become someone important”. Pattieboop always remembers her mother’s words and makes sure she is noticed.
Pattieboop has a favorite pet named Allie. Allie is a slender black cat and loves playing and spending time with Pattieboop. Allie spends most of her days napping and her nights are spent getting in to mischief… Allie loves to act with Pattieboop and you will see them in some very funny situations. Sometimes they make me, Pattie Gomez laugh while I am drawing them.
Thw winner will get to choose 3 digis from Pattie’s Creations.

Add a Litttle Sparkle....
The Copic Musketeer Challenge for June:
This month’s challenge is to create a card that celebrates friendship. Friendships are such an important part of our lives, and they add a certain sparkle to our days. Please create a project this month to celebrate our relationships with each other and add a little sparkle to it. This can be glitter, shimmer, whatever you fancy. You can keep it simple, or you can glitz it out! Whatever you do, it’s up to you… just make sure it shines!
It took me a while to get back into the groove of creating again. I now have a new job (finally getting settled in here). I have missed a few challenges lately and I am so sorry for my absence. I am back to being active again.
My creation for this month is a House Mouse Designs, Happy Hopper stamp called Bunny Lift. I found it on clearance at Hobby Lobby over Father's Day weekend. I added some sparkly letter stickers and some gems and I used my Copic Spica glitter Pen on the faucet and the fountain for a little extra glitz. I used my trusty Copic markers to color in the image.

Easter Bunny House
Okay, so with all the flap about Provocraft, I am refusing to buy any more products from them. I am however still using the products I have. I loved the haunted house so much. I made a few of them and then I made one in red and white for a Christmas house. Now I have used it to make an Easter house. It's a little crooked because I have a hard time putting the roofs on these things. So here it is...

Blog candy?
I am thinking of doing a blog candy give away to increase my followers. Does anyone have any suggestions on what rules to use and what kind of candy would everyone be interested in? I am looking for some suggestions. I have been cleaning up in my craft room and reorganizing things and I have found some duplicate things and somethings that are new in package that I have never used. This could give me a way to clear out a few things. Let me know what you think.

Card for someone turning 100
One of the girls over in the scal-mtc-hints yahoo group has an uncle who is turning 100 this weekend, and she asked if anyone was interested in sending a card. I have loved these Gus digi's from Bugaboo and this was a great reason to finally purchase some of them. I colored him in with my copics and used a little distress ink around the edges. I hope he gets a kick out of the card.

A card I made touched a friends heart.
I made this card a while back. One of my clients here at work came in and commented on how much it reminded her of her son. Since I didn't make it for anyone particular, I passed it on to her. Her son has been fighting a really aggressive bone cancer for close to half his life now. When I gave her the card he had just gone into remission again. Last fall, his cancer was back and one doctor they went to basically told him he needed to go figure out how he wanted to spend what time he had left. They were contacted by one of his doctors in Cincinnati about a clinical trial he might be able to get into. It was some type of experimental chemo treatment. Today she came in and told me he is once again in remission. She returned this card to me and told me what it has meant to her over the last year. While they were going through some dark days after being told there was nothing else that could be done for her son, she placed this card in the window of her kitchen cabinet. She looked at it several times a day and reminded herself that she was not going to give up on her baby. She continued to look at it the whole time he was in treatment. She just knew God had something wonderful planned for her son. She liked the sentiment of Happy Day. She said she knew it meant something special. When he went back into remission, she decided to bring the card back to me that maybe the hope it brought her could be passed on to someone else. I am just amazed at how my card has touched her.
